This is Funny

Yet I can totally see it happening, based on my experiences with people and buildings and companies. Server room is a unique location.

Intentional… Or Malware?

I have run into the scenario of checking an end user’s computer for signs of porn, or surfing porn sites, and seen ambiguity introduced by popups from sites that are not porn per se, or clicks that were unintended and aborted. Obviously, malware can not only cause popups, but also download files nefariously.

Brother MFC-240C

I hooked our new scanner/printer/copier/fax up today. It was delightful to be able to locate the fact that installation files were available for Windows Vista and download them from the company painlessly. The CD said everything through XP, so I was mildly concerned, but they’re working through their product line and released this [...]

Back Into Vista - Video Conversion Anyone?

I fired up the Vista machine again, after a couple days off from it. My plan was to see how well it did playing a DVD out of the box. The answer: Excellent. I played a couple segments from Serenity. It would be perfectly viable, if I wanted to watch something [...]
